I’m Alice from Shoreham By Sea, an avid cycle tourer obsessed with creating geographically-themed trips on yellowy bikes.
In September 2021 I cycled 1000 miles around my home county of Sussex, visiting every town and village raising money for local charity Wolo Foundation. This 20 day Sussex 1000 trip was in preparation for Brighton 2 Brighton, an 80 day cycle around the edge of the UK, which I completed in August 2022.
My trips are slow, unsupported and predominantly solo (with friends joining me for sections). I like to encourage other women to unleash their adventurous sides and show what great things are possible by bike.

Cadence Cycling Club supported my Sussex 1000 trip by feeding me at each of their 6 hubs and promoted my charity, Wolo. Cadence Cycling Club are a group of avid cyclists who aim to build a big diverse cycling community. They have 6 hubs around Sussex serving excellent coffee and delicious food.
Shoreham-based food company, Higgidy provided me with their delicious pies, quiches and sausage rolls along my Sussex 1000 journey. Perfect on the go snack.
My sunglasses have been supplied by Sussex-based company Pala, a purpose driven ethical eyewear brand. All Pala glasses come with a slimline lightweight waterproof woven case made from recycled plastic by traditional weavers from one of three rural communities in Bolgatanga, Ghana.
