I’m Alice, an avid bike packer obsessed with creating big trips on yellow bikes.
In September I cycled 1000 miles around my home county of Sussex, visiting every town and village! This 20 day Sussex 1000 trip was in preparation for Brighton 2 Brighton, an 80 day cycle around the edge of the UK, which I will be starting in June 2022.
I am always looking for businesses and organisations interesting in collaborating.
With thousands of miles to cycle I’d be happy to test, review and promote any bicycle touring equipment or even a bike itself!
If you are interested in partnering up, please contact me via Instagram.
Thank you to Beeline, makers of Beeline Velo, the bicycle computer with effective user-friendly navigation. I will be using my stylish yellow Beeline device to sync all my route planning to the device in order to benefit from clear, simple, low powered navigation. With over 30 hours of battery life, I can be confident I won’t get lost!
Thank you to Cadence Cycling Club for supporting my Sussex 1000 trip by feeding me at each of their 6 fantastic hubs, promoting Wolo and providing me with merchandise. Cadence Cycling Club are a group of avid cyclists who aim to build a big diverse cycling community. They have 6 hubs around Sussex serving excellent coffee and delicious food including gourmet toasties and tasty porridge breakfasts.
Thank you to the Shoreham-based food company, Higgidy who provided me with their delicious pies, quiches and sausage rolls along my Sussex 1000 journey. Perfect on the go snack packed with flavour and healthy ingredients.
Thank you to Sussex-based company Pala, a purpose driven ethical eyewear brand who gave me a stylish yet practical pair of sunglasses. All Pala glasses come with a slimline lightweight waterproof woven case made from recycled plastic by traditional weavers from one of three rural communities in Bolgatanga, Ghana.
Thank you to Hunt who gave me a discount on their incredible Hunt SuperDura Dynamo wheels. Not only do these wheels feel incredibly smooth to ride, they also feature a dynamo hub allowing me to generate my own electricity to charge my gadgets throughout the trip.
Thank you to the locally based, Inkly for the Uniflex cable, a compact magnetic cable with 3 different types of charging port for my lights, my phone and my speaker! An ideal accessory for the dynamo hub.
